BBUS Receives Leading Customer Service Performer Award from CE Electric

Northern Power Team recognised at CE Electric's Annual Safety Conference

BBUS has received the 2009 Leading Customer Service Performer Award from client CE Electric. The award, presented at CE Electric's Annual Safety Conference, emphasises the consideration that the BBUS Northern Power team has shown to stakeholders when carrying out projects over the past twelve months.

BBUS gained special praise for major performance improvements across the low voltage engineering services work stream, particularly in the second half of 2009. Teams were also commended for their work on interconnector projects in Newcastle - over a period of 22 months BBUS excavated 17km of track across two local authority areas without the client receiving a single complaint. Additionally, BBUS received two letters of thanks from local authorities impressed by the diligence of the project team.

John Barnett, Director of Customer Operations at CE Electric, said: 'The award was for performance across a range of different areas where BBUS have a high degree of customer and local stakeholder exposure; despite this exposure we have received very few complaints or queries in to our business. Not only do BBUS recognise the importance of external customer service, it is apparent they also take great pride in liaising with CE in a professional and constructive manner to seek continual improvement.'

Andrew Roach, Regional Manager, BBUS, said: 'I am really pleased that CE Electric has recognised our performance in this area, as I know that the team take great pride in looking after our customers and stakeholders.
