Service Partner Awards Success!

The Yorkshire team won both the ‘People+’ and ‘Value+’ Awards fighting off strong competition from other service partners.

The Value+ Award is designed to recognise a partner who has made the greatest overall contribution to delivering value by driving down costs and introducing new and improved ways of working across the board. The team were chosen as the winners for their achievements during s19 water quality work in Knottingley and Ackworth during the last year. The People+ Award recognises a partner who has helped both their colleagues at Yorkshire Water, and in their own organisation, to develop and maximise their potential, and created a positive and motivational culture. BBU was chosen for the award following the successful implementation of a number of initiatives and achievements, one of which was the successful completion of NVQ Level 2 Customer Service by staff on the Yorkshire team. The winners were announced at an Awards ceremony held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on Monday 10th September.
