BBUS is proud to announce that it has been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), for its Supply Chain Management systems and processes.

BBUS was presented with the 'Silver' accreditation certificate by Michael Campbell, Director of Professional Development Services for CIPS, following an intensive programme of work, which included implementing 40 new procurement policies and procedures.

George Owens, BBUS Head of Supply Chain Management commented:

"This accreditation will form a key building block of our supply chain transformation programme. This will in turn deliver sustained and continuous improvement throughout our supply chain in order to achieve value for BBUS and our customers.

"We are looking forward to working towards Gold accreditation."

Michael Campbell, Director of Professional Development Services for CIPS said:

"The Silver accreditation is an immense achievement for the BBUS Supply Chain Management team and will help them to meet their business objectives. CIPS will provide support and guidance to the team as they embed their new policies and procedures into the business over the coming months.

"It is a real credit to the dedication of the team at BBUS that they are already working towards the Gold level!"
