Left: BBUS team prepare for Sheffield half marathon in aid of Marie Curie
John Havers, Scott Hollinshead and Ross Townsend have swapped their shirt and ties for a running vest and trainers to take on the Sheffield Half Marathon to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The team based in Yorkshire, will be running the 13 mile
half marathon on 26th April 2009.
John Havers, Technician for BBUS said: "We're all keen sportsmen
and like to take part in sporting events. There is a bit of rivalry
in the office so it may turn into a race, just for a laugh!"
Katie Grinter, Local Community Fundraiser for Marie Curie Cancer
Care said: "Sheffield Half Marathon is such a huge event to happen
in the area, by running to support Marie Curie Cancer Care you will
be raising much needed funds to support the local nursing service
as well as getting super fit!"
Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally
free, to give terminally ill people the choice of dying at home
supported by their families.
The Sheffield Half Marathon runs through the city centre of
Sheffield on a 13 mile route starting and finishing at Don Valley
