Left: BBUS 'In Your Area' pilot on-line customer scheme
Severn Trent Water, United Utilities and Yorkshire Water customers have been offered the opportunity to trial a new on-line pilot scheme to access details of major water utility works, available from March 2009, hosted by BBUS.
The new web based 'In Your Area' pilot scheme is being trialed as a proactive communication channel for the three BBUS clients, so their customers can find out what major water works are in progress in the area and more importantly to find out why they are happening. The pilot will run from March to May 2009.
Julie Maund, BBUS Customer Service Manager said: "We believe this new web based scheme is an excellent way for us to proactively engage with customers and provide full access to information relating to the works in their area. It will also help us manage customer expectations more effectively and keep them informed about why we're there and how long we'll be there for.
"Providing high quality Customer Service is a top priority for BBUS, so alongside notification letters and local media announcements and proactive face to face liaison, we hope this pilot scheme will keep customers fully informed."
