We currently have several excellent opportunities for Project
Manager's in Canada.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Plan, manage and control assigned project or projects so as to
ensure timely completion, compliance with customer requirements,
maximise efficiency in the use of the alliance resources and
maximise profitability with minimised risk.
- Implement and maintain the Project Contract Management and
Quality Plans on projects assigned
- Develop a Project Safety Plan to ensure that safety measures
and systems are implemented on projects in accordance with regional
legislative requirements, the alliance safety policy and the
customer's safety requirements.
- Ensure that projects comply with environmental legislation and
the customer's environmental requirements.
- Maintain satisfactory Industrial Relations on projects.
- Control of project procurement and approval of purchasing.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports as required by
the Alliance Management System and as directed by the Alliance
Delivery Manager.
Skills required:
- Proven experience of delivering large projects in the
construction industry.
- Technical level of understanding associated with power systems
(OHTL and substations).
- Alliance contract delivery understanding and behavioural
experience
- Leadership experience
- Experience in a 'Design-for-Construction' environment
- Computer literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
of software packages
